Electrical Technician - Brooklyn, NY

The Metro Group, Inc. is seeking a qualified Entry-Level Estimator for their HVAC Installation Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for estimating installation and repair of HVAC and Mechanical systems and projects. The role is based in Long Island City, NY. Remote candidates will not be accepted. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Preparing cost estimates and proposals, including thorough review of bid documents, development of RFIs, completing project take-offs, collecting pricing from subcontractors and suppliers, accurately identifying labor requirements, etc., in accordance with project documentation
  • Accurately and comprehensively understanding the scope of work and customer requirements in order to develop a Proposal in line with the desired project outcome

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating with service team members, gather the necessary information and develop Customer proposals for our various HVAC services.   • Assist lead technician in various heating and cooling systems related job tasks
